Foundation
The SCSHA Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
foundation that is operated exclusively for promoting
education and research in the field of Speech-Language
Pathology and Audiology.
The Foundation supports education and research
by providing:
An annual stipend to the association’s Student
of the Year at the annual SCSHA Convention
Annual Scholarships
(beginning in 2006)

Each year two $1,000 Scholarships are awarded.
Eligibility:
- Rising senior in an undergraduate degree
program in South Carolina who plans to continue
in the field OR
- Graduate student who has completed at least
one semester in an accredited degree program in
South Carolina AND
- Currently a student member of the South Carolina
Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Requirements:
- There (3) Letters of Recommendation describing the
applicant’s academic and/or clinical work
These may
be from academic faculty members, clinical supervisors,
or one of each.
- An original personal essay of between 300 to
500 words related to the profession and the applicant’s
professional aspirations
- Official Transcript sent from institution
Deadline for submission is postmarked NO LATER THAN January 27,
2012.
