SCSHA Foundation

The SCSHA Foundation is a non-profit organization that is operated exclusively for promoting education and research in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

The Foundation supports education and research by providing:

	An annual stipend to the association’s Student of the Year at the annual SCSHA convention
	Annual Scholarships (beginning in 2006)

ANNUAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility:

Rising senior in an undergraduate degree program who plans to continue in the field OR
Graduate student who has completed at least one semester in an accredited program AND
Currently a student member of the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Requirements:

Two Letters of Recommendation describing the applicant’s academic and/or clinical work

These may be from academic faculty members, clinical supervisors, or one of each.

	One page double-spaced essay related to the profession and the applicant’s professional aspirations
	Official Transcript sent from institution
