SCSHA Foundation

The SCSHA Foundation is a non-profit organization that is operated exclusively for promoting education and research in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

The Foundation supports education and research by providing:

An annual stipend to the association’s Student of the Year at the annual SCSHA convention

bullet

Annual Scholarships (beginning in 2006)

Donate to to the SCSHA Foundation

ANNUAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility:

  1. Rising senior in an undergraduate degree program who plans to continue in the field OR
  2. Graduate student who has completed at least one semester in an accredited program AND
  3. Currently a student member of the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Requirements:

Two Letters of Recommendation describing the applicant’s academic and/or clinical work

            These may be from academic faculty members, clinical supervisors, or one of each.

bullet

One page double-spaced essay related to the profession and the applicant’s professional aspirations

bullet

Official Transcript sent from institution
